EL LLOBREGAT OPEN CHESS tournament has ended, surpassing the record number of titles rules obtained in 2019. On this occasion, 8 athletes have achieved this merit. The winner in the tiebreaker match was Nodirbek Abdussatorov of Uzbekistan, relegating Karthikeyan Murali (India) to second place. The third place was obtained by the Spanish representative Pere Garriga Cazorla.
The Grandmaster standards went to the following athletes: Pere Garriga, Cazorla (Spain), Muradli Mahammad (Azerbaijan), Thomas Beerdsen (Netherlands), Aditya Mittal (India) 15 years old.
Those of International Master were obtained by: Kirk Ghazarian (USA), Theodor Kenneskog (Sweden), Samant Aditya (India). The Bulgarian Beloslava Krasteva was the only woman to obtain the norm of International Women’s Master.
