Registrations and registrations
The tournament is open to all players with a valid FIDE license and who have an ELO of less than 2,300 points on the November 2025 list.
Valid for ELO FCE and FIDE.

Game system
Swiss System to 9 rounds.
The pairings will be made through the Swiss Manager program, being the main arbiter responsible for them.
Pace of play
90 minutes for the whole game plus 30 seconds increment from move 1.
Waiting time
The tolerance time is set at 1 hour.
Ties
The tie-breakers will be valid both for the purposes of classification and for obtaining trophies and cash prizes.
Therefore, neither trophies nor cash prizes will be divisible among the players who could have tied on points.
The tie-breaking system for Open B will be as follows and in the following order:
- Buchholz FIDE minus the worst result (37) (0,1,N 4,0,N)
- Buchholz FIDE total (37) (0,0,N 4,0,N)
- Sonnenborg Berger (52) (0,0,N 4,0,N,N,N)
- Particular Result (11)
- Average recursive performance of rivals (55) (0,0,1000)
For the purpose of calculating the Buchholz systems, the “virtual opponent” will be applied in unplayed games.

- General: 70 € (60 € if paid before 20/08/2025)

Both cash prizes and trophies will be sent by the organization to the address provided by each awarded player, within ninety days after the end of the Open.

The trip from Plaza de España to Sant Boi is 18 minutes and the line is Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat.
The arcade is 600 meters (5 minutes walk from Sant Boi station.
