The official lodging of the Llobregat Open Chess Tournament is the Hotel El Castell (Carrer del Castell, núm. 1) of Sant Boi de Llobregat. The 3-star hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, terrace and garden. It is located on a hill on the outskirts of Barcelona and offers panoramic views. It is located in a quiet area, surrounded by woods, only 600 meters from a sports center and spa. The rooms are spacious and elegant, overlook the exterior and include satellite TV. Inside it houses a popular restaurant, the Blanc&Negre, and a cafeteria. In summer, you can eat on the terrace.
Hotel El Castell is well connected to the city center by car and public transportation, and is only a 10-minute drive from Barcelona-El Prat airport. It is also the closest hotel to the tournament venue. (Can Massallera, Mallorca St., no. 30)just 5 minutes walk from it.

Alternative official lodging - Hotel 153
The Hotel 153 is located on Paseo de la Marina 153 in the town of Castelldefels, 200 meters from the beach. Completely renovated in 2021 it has a swimming pool, parking, bar / cafeteria, meal option, 24 hour reception, lounge and garden area, located very close to the entertainment area of Castelldefels beach, but in a street a little quieter. It is a 3 star hotel and has 32 rooms.
The rooms are comfortable and all equipped with TV, free wifi, air conditioning, heating and shower. The rooms have natural light in each of them thanks to their large windows. In addition, they are all located on the second floor. For people with reduced mobility, although the entrance has stairs, there is a stair climber that goes up and down for those who go for example in a wheelchair.
Free shuttle service to the tournament venue
During the days of the tournament, the organization of El Llobregat Open Chess will offer to all players staying at Hotel 153 a free shuttle bus service to the playing room and back to the hotel.
-FromNovember 28th 2025 to December 7th: departure from Castelldefels (we will indicate the bus stop), every day, at 15:00 hours and transfer to Sant Boi (Plaza Catalunya stop). Return each day, with pick up in Sant Boi at 21:00 hours, and end in Castelldefels.
-OnDecember 8: departure from Castelldefels at 9:00 am to Sant Boi. Pick up at 19:00 hours in Sant Boi, to finish in Castelldefels.

How to get to Sant Boi from Barcelona
The trip from Plaza de España to Sant Boi takes 18 minutes and the line is Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat. The arcade is 600 meters away (5 minutes walk from Sant Boi station).
