The Russian/Spanish GM, Daniil Yuffa, twenty-eight years old, with an ELO of 2,640, managed to win the eighty-ninth edition of the Spanish Chess Championship held in Marbella from December 11 to 19, 2024; he scored 7.5 points out of a possible 9. He had already finished second in the 2021 edition. Daniil is qualified to play the next World Cup.Although the inscriptions for the sixth edition of EL LLOBREGAT OPEN CHESS will not open until three months from now (April 1st; and it will be played from November 28th to December 8th), Master Daniil Yuffa, has already confirmed that he will play the VI edition of EL LLOBREGAT OPEN CHESS, as he did in 2023; he sends us his greetings:
